Angel Fire Trials for '07:  Saturday July 7..... Trials masters: Tony Herald, Dean Miller, Mark Borges

Directions to Trials: 
Take highway 64 from Taos.  From highway 64 turn south on highway 434 which goes towards Mora, go about 2 3/4 miles and turn left (at bank) to Angel Fire Ski area on N. Angel Fire Rd.  Stay on paved road about 9 tenths of a mile (pretty much, to the end of the main road, at the bottom of the ski runs) and make a sharp left turn on Five Springs Rd., continue on paved road for a block, than go straight at stop sign.  Pavement soon turns to a good gravel road and it is about 6 miles to the back basin and trials site.

Other information:
This is a dual event with Trials on Saturday, and a Hare Scrambles on Sunday (bring your race bike).  If there are enough trials entrants a separate class will be set up for trials bikes at the Hare Scrambles, so you can come and ride both days.  The event should be loads of fun.

Open riding will not be allowed but we hope to have some areas for practice.

There will be a small land use fee collected at the entry gate, in 2007 was $5.00.

Elevation at the start is 9500 feet and the loop goes up to 10600 feet so jet accordingly.
